Youth Work

The Tudor Trust has funded the major part of our outreach youth project which is also supported by Hull City Council and funding from the Garfield Weston Foundation.

Here at SSNC we have 2 part time youth workers Jennie and Jenny who run, in partnership with Youth Dynamix and Hull City Council, the Isaac Newton Youth Sessions which take place on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m until 8:00 p.m. at Isaac Newton Sports Centre, Hemswell Avenue, Greatfield.

The sessions are open to all young people aged between 11 - 16 and offer a wide variety of activities including sports in the fully equipped sports hall, gym membership and the opportunity to train with with a fully qualified gym insytructor and an abundance of arts, crafts, computer resources in the youth room. It is a great opportunity to meet with your friends, get involved with some extra curricular activities, or just chill out.

Also on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 8 p.m we hold a youth club for young people with learning difficulties, and their friends aged 12 - 25 years. We do a wide range of activities, crafts and games and we would love you to join us.
