Personalisation (advice)

My name is Lynne Wright, and I am the Personalisation Worker. I began working at SSNC in March 2010. My background is one of social work and health, so as you can imagine my experiences have been varied and interesting. My role here at SSNC is support and advice for people over the age of 18 who live in the HU7/8/9/ area.

 

I am here to offer advice and support with

 

  • *Health related issues, support when attending appointments, advice about aids that are available . Advice for Carers and buying your own care

*Social Care needs and activities in your local area

*Benefits, assistance and advice regarding managing finances, support with setting up payment arrangements and opening bank accounts

*Housing Issues, support, advice and advocacy with issues related to housing repairs, housing benefits or complaints

*Child care, availibilty, cost and benefit entitlements

*Healthy lifestyle choices, diet, exercise, drugs, alcholhol and stopping smoking

*Support or advocacy when wanting to make your voice heard

*Support when dealing with bereavement related issues (Finances, counselling etc)

Numeracy 9 - 11 am

Community Lunch  12-1p.m.

Tea Dance 1-4 p.m.

GRIN kids Club - 5- 6:30 p.m.

Fridays

Mass - 6 p.m.

Saturdays

The hall is available for private hire (£15.00/hr inc. fully kitted kitchen) Packages available
